Reader Request: Frye Paige Tall Riding Boot

I got this request last week,

Girl, I am in LOVE with these boots. Why do they have to be so expensive?? Could you find a cheaper alternative?

Thanks!!

  1. Nice picks! The Eastwood boots are so cute! I've been hunting for some brownish/cognac boots for me. These might be the ones :D

  2. Last year I bought a cheap(er) pair of riding boots for about $50. I returned them a few days later - the quality was terrible and the fake leather started cracking the first time I wore them! This is one of those times where I chose to invest in a quality item. I bought a pair of real leather boots from BR, used a great coupon, and got them for a little over $100. Best money I ever spent. I LOVE them and I will be wearing them for years. I recommend sticking with a classic style, spending the money for good quality, and taking good care of the leather to make them last. You'll be glad you did.

  4. Frye's are quite pricey, but there are high quality brands that run the $100-$200 range and regularly go on sale or show up on bargain or deal-of-the-day sites like 6pm.com.
