Inspired: Kate Spade {behind the curtain}

I was perusing the latest looks at Kate Spade and fell in love with this one. I love love love the graphic houndstooth print on the skirt.

{worth a whopping $1379}

Here is my budget version:

Worthington® Houndstooth Skirt - JCPenney - $14.40 (Orig. $36.00)
Beaded Button-Front Cardigan - Old Navy - $11.97 (Orig. $32.50)
Ruffle-Trim Tank - Old Navy - $14.50
Lacquered Petal Flower Studs - Forever 21 - $2.80
Little Black Bangle Set - Forever 21 - $7.80
Charles Albert Women's Chrissy Ballet Flat - Endless - $24.95
total: $76.42

I was disappointed that I couldn't find a better version of the skirt, but other than that, I think it's a pretty good match. What do you guys think of the look? Is it something you would wear? Leave your thoughts below.

  4. The skirt is very "Mondo" from the last season of Project Runway. Maybe he'll come out with a line and make one more affordable than the KS one. I love the large graphic houndstooth too!

  5. I love you looks for less. DO you think there will be any knockoffs of Kate Spade's gorgeous Janette dress? Here is a link to it: http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_Mqh52TTC0rU/TUwnzaae8iI/AAAAAAAADuw/iwB0MzQopvc/s400/candy+shoppe.jpg
