Inspired: J.Crew {Sequins + Sneakers}

I was perusing the J.Crew website (again) and fell in love with this outfit. I think it's the perfect mix of casual and dressy (with a bit of geek chic thrown in for good measure).

{blazer, sequin tee, jeans, sneakers - $617.00}

Here is how I would do it for less:

FULL TILT Womens Knit Blazer - Tilly's - $29.99 {also available in black}
Contrast Sequin Tunic - Forever 21 - $22.80
Five Pocket Jegging, Ormondo Wash - New York & Co - $24.95 {Orig. $39.95}
F8094 Readers - Forever 21 - $5.80
Joe Boxer Saffira - White - Kmart - $9.99 {I also like this slip on version}
total: $83.08

What do you think? Is this something you would wear? Leave your thoughts below.

Happy Shopping.

  2. i love the look but doubt I could get a way with it. it'd look more geek on me than chic. :)

  9. That outfit is one that I wouldn't normally go for, but for some reason, it totally stuck a chord with me. I love it! And your look for less is pretty much amazing. I MIGHT just need to get everything on there. Minus the glasses, 'cause I'd just look silly in glasses. :)

  13. I just stumbled upon your blog a few days ago. I absolutely love it! I have a question and I need some help. I'm completely into fashion (but not much of a fashion guru as yourself) and love love love finding my clothes at the expensive places. Nordstrom is home. However, I'm also a college student!! Not a good mix. I am in desperate need of some knee-high/mid-calf black riding style boots. Look at these beauties:

    I would be forever in your debt, if you could post boots just like these black ones (pewter hardware would be just fine!) for cheap! *Another picky requirement: the boots aren't slouchy. They stay standing on their own and don't sag.

    Please, please, please, help!
